Integrity Commission

Foundation modules

Foundation modules introduce the concepts of ethics and integrity and explore how these apply to public sector organisations, employees and elected members. They introduce codes of conduct and ethical decision making; define misconduct and its consequences; and outline the role of the Commission.

Foundation modules assist public sector organisations to comply with ethics training requirements for their employees and elected members under the Integrity Commission Act.

The modules all cover similar learning outcomes and are provided in packages and delivery modes for various types of learners. Each learner should complete one foundation module.

* Discussion-based modules are for use within meetings and are facilitated by the person leading the meeting (i.e. a chair or a manager). Prior experience as a trainer/educator is not required.
