This page has good practice resources for managing suspected misconduct in Tasmanian public sector organisations.

The guide comprises a series of fact sheets, which you can access as a whole document or individually as required. This page also has an editable version of the model ‘preliminary assessment’ policy document. The preliminary assessment process is discussed in the guide.

The fact sheets can be used together as a whole of process guide. They can also be used individually where assistance is needed on a particular issue.

Although the fact sheets are in rough procedural order, some are relevant to the whole process. Where a topic is discussed in another fact sheet, this is indicated by the symbol [FS#], which will show the relevant fact sheet number.

Definitions of key words and a list of references with more detailed information are in [FS6].

Due to the broad application of the guide, it is generic in nature. If you are unsure whether particular aspects are applicable to your organisation, you should seek advice.
