  • the role and functions of the Integrity Commission

Our approach is to work collaboratively with organisations to ensure that our content is relevant and meaningful for the intended audience. From employee inductions to small groups, we can tailor a presentation or workshop to suit the needs of your organisation.

Integrity in Public Service

Integrity in Public Service is a foundational online module designed to support public officers to perform their roles with integrity. This interactive module takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes to complete, is self-paced, and can be completed in more than one sitting.

This workshop covers:

  • the responsibilities and opportunities working in the Tasmanian public sector
  • the personal qualities that are important in serving the community
  • the role of the Integrity Commission
  • three questions for good decision making.

Investigating Misconduct

Registrations are now open for Investigating Misconduct sessions in Hobart and Launceston.

Underpinned by good practice research, Investigating Misconduct introduces participants to the core concepts and skills in managing and investigating misconduct. The training is framed around the three stages of public sector misconduct management: allegation or suspicion, investigation, and outcomes. Delivered over two half days, these interactive sessions contain practical tips and tools targeted to the real needs and experiences of the Tasmanian public sector.

Participants will learn how to:

  • identify the core elements of a preliminary assessment
  • define factual and misconduct allegations
  • draft an investigation plan
  • plan for an interview, and
  • identify best practice in investigation report writing.

Practical Ethics for Managers

Practical Ethics for Managers explores the ethical challenges and opportunities facing Tasmanian public sector managers.

Attending this workshop will support participants to:

  • identify key attributes and behaviours of an ethical manager in their workplace
  • apply ethical decision-making tools and strategies
  • recognise and respond to the ethical dilemmas of managing in the middle
  • role model ethical behaviours for staff.
